Who we are

The people behind
Daylight.

A family business with a simple belief: the right support can help a young person find their own way forward.

We’re Suzi and Terence, the founders of Daylight Learning. Based in Selsey, we’re building a personal, local service for young people and families across the Chichester area.

Co-founder & Lead SEN Mentor

Suzi

An experienced SEN practitioner with a personal, encouraging approach to learning.

Suzi spent 15 years working in a South London school, supporting children with special educational needs as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. After moving to West Sussex, she continued in the same role in two schools in the Chichester district.

She later branched out independently, offering one-to-one tuition and mentoring in young people’s homes and community settings. Her work centres on getting to know each learner, building trust and finding ways to make learning feel accessible.

As Daylight Learning’s lead mentor, Suzi brings that experience to personalised support shaped around the individual.

Co-founder & Operations Lead

Terence

A practical problem-solver who cares about making support work for families.

Terence brings nearly three decades of experience in technical support, helping people work through complex problems with patience and clear communication. His approach is straightforward: listen carefully, understand what is needed and find a workable way forward.

At Daylight Learning, Terence looks after enquiries, coordination and the day-to-day organisation of the business. Working alongside Suzi, he helps turn their shared vision into a service that is personal, approachable and easy to deal with.

As a parent, he also understands how much it matters to feel heard when you are looking for the right support for your child.
